Drawing on decades of experience as a coupling manufacturer, Mönninghoff offers a comprehensive range of coupling solutions, all distinguished by precise torque transmission, exceptional operational reliability, seamless system integration, and a long service life.
Clutches Mönninghoff clutches can be engaged electrically, pneumatically, or hydraulically and are available in a wide variety of configurations. One example of our engineering innovation is the M1 bistable electromagnetic tooth clutch, developed and patented by Mönninghoff, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 99 % depending on the application.
Shaft Couplings Connecting and shaft couplings are designed to compensate for misalignment within the drivetrain, dampen vibrations, and absorb shock loads. In addition to torsionally rigid shaft couplings, Mönninghoff offers a comprehensive range of flexible shaft couplings. To achieve the optimum result for your application, we always strive to provide the most holistic solution possible, including the combination of different drive components where appropriate.
Torque limiters An torque limiter or safety coupling limits torque to a predefined threshold value. If this limit is exceeded, for example due to operator error or system malfunction, the coupling disengages the drivetrain and adjacent components, thereby preventing damage. We offer safety couplings in the form of multi-disc slip clutches, tooth clutches, and overload couplings.
